A COLOURFUL TWIST ON TRADITIONAL BRIDAL PORTRAITS IN MALACCA

Destination Pre Wedding Photography Session

Happy new year everyone. Once again, it's my honour. One of my favourite pre wedding photos was featuring by THE WEDDING NOTEBOOK Malaysia. The following article was published by The Wedding Notebook Malaysia on 07 January 2021.

We love weddings that incorporate elements of traditional Malay and Chinese attire, such as batik and the kwa, and we especially love the way this couple took those elements and gave it a refreshing, modern twist!

The individual touches throughout, like pairing the long sarong-like skirts with sneakers, were subtle yet significant, allowing the lovebirds to put their own stamp on the bridal portraits. Another element that is uniquely 2020: the face mask!

Set against the fun backdrop of Malacca, the bride’s curious take on her hairstyles, from Dutch braids to twin buns, really completed the look. Many thanks to Jens Kv Photography for this set of bridal portraits!
